Renee Sentilles

Renée is a professional historian who, after a long career in academics, is focusing on freeing her creative voice. Along with academic articles, she has two academic books to her name, Performing Menken (2003) and American Tomboys (2018). She is working on a third book, a creative hybrid of fiction and nonfiction that uses women's shoes to tell history. She writes on history, women, social/cultural issues, personal discovery, and whatever else seems interesting. She also paints.
