Real Bakhit is a Sudanese writer and creative living in Istanbul. She recently finished working on her debut novel, a political/speculative woman's fiction with elements of a contemporary love story. Her work mainly focuses on immigrant stories, BIPOC characters, post-and colonial narratives. She spends her time weaving tales between the Sudanese and Turkish cultures while meandering around Istanbul with all its cats for company.
