Rachel Isaacs Allen is a Punjabi-American writer and educator from Southern California. She lives in Brooklyn and is a graduate from the Brooklyn Writer’s Foundry MFA. A 2026 Barbara Germack Fellow, Rachel was an editor of The Foundry Review. She teaches Freshman Composition at St. Joseph’s University, Brooklyn. Rachel is a type writer poet & workshop facilitator for the Poetry Society of New York, a Periplus Finalist, and a2026 Cultivate Writer in residence. She organizes TBR Reading Series.
