Ruth Abbott

Ruth has lived in Michigan, Mexico, and the Marshall Islands. SCUBA diver, Linguist, English Instructor, Researcher, Photographer, and Crafts Demonstrator-- Ruth probes culturally weird practices most take for granted. A graduate of Michigan State University, twice; and Alumna, Current MFA student, and Winner of 2022 Innovation Award at Northern Michigan University, Ruth is working toward her third graduate degree. She has received two Northern Stars for her much-valued kindess toward others.
