Shan is a queer, trans, internationally published poet living in Charlotte, NC. They got their B.A. in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. Shan's work has appeared in Wild Hyacinth, Pictura Journal, Chaotic Merge Magazine and (the now-defunct) Rivets: A Queer Literary Collective and features poems that explore the internal battles of holding tenderness in this often harsh world, while serving as a reminder that having each other is our greatest strength.
