    Pedro Poitevin, a bilingual poet, translator, and mathematician originally from Guatemala, is the author of Nowhere at Home (Penteract Press, UK, 2023) and five books in Spanish. His poems have appeared in Rattle, River Styx, Nimrod, and other journals. His translations of Miguel Hernández appeared in Asymptote, and Philip Nikolayev’s translations of his poems are forthcoming in The Common. He teaches mathematics at Salem State University. He won the 2021 Juana Goergen Poetry Prize.
