On good days, Paul's writing targets an area that lies somewhere between Richard Brautigan and Kurt Vonnegut. He finds inspiration and clarity in wild nature and electric guitar and believes that religion and politics are the 2 most destructive things we humans have inflicted upon ourselves. He grudgingly admits, however, that politics is necessary. His writing is a cleverly-disguised plea for us humans to accept the truth that we are just some mildly capable animals doing our best.
