Sarah Parker is a fiction writer and occasional poet from Blacksburg, Virginia pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at The Ohio State University. Their writing explores gender, identity, and autonomy, using their background in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies to explore the relationships between tenderness and brutality with infusions from their own experiences growing up in southern Appalachia. They have previously been published by the Academy of American Poets.
