Sarah is a linguist, language teacher, activist, and writer. She has a B.A. in Linguistics and an M.A. in Teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). She teaches at Portland Community College. She writes and parents in Portland, OR as well. Her work often explores the intersection of spiritual experience with trauma and mental health. Her first published piece, “Afraid of Monsters,” came out in the spring 2025 in the Santa Clara Review.
