Otter Mervryn was born in Milwaukee, WI, and wasn't an army brat even though she moved every 6 mos to a year. She writes fantasy, science fiction, and poetry with shadows woven through a weft of kindness. As a queer writer, she bleeds stories of non-traditional relationships and the cultures moving exposed her to. The 15lb kitten who chose her likes to sleep on her arms while she types out everything. She's also an artist who has no single favorite color and a dabbling musician.
