N.J. Simat is a novelist and poet with a BA in Pre-Veterinary Biology from Georgia State University. She studied creative writing at Emory, and just recently completed a Pocket MFA for Poetry. Her work bridges the natural and metaphysical, blending themes of science and philosophy.
