Nickie DeSardo

Nickie DeSardo is a poet, writer, and activist whose confessional work explores identity, love, heartbreak, and social justice. She holds an MFA in writing from Western Connecticut State University and is a Poet & Author Fellow at the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. Her poetry appears in Hairstreak Butterfly Review, Dipity, WildSound Festival, and The Word’s Faire. She lives on the Connecticut shoreline with her partner, kids, and dogs.
