Nick Spitzman is a fiction writer and recovering tech executive. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he is now based in Austin, Texas. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in One Story, Expat Press, The Berlin Literary Review, and elsewhere. He received an Honorable Mention from Glimmer Train, participated in the 2026 Disquiet International Literary Program, and will be a Spring 2027 resident at the Vermont Studio Center.
