L. Michelle Nichols has been published in Bitter Oleander, descant, Flycatcher, Juked, Louisiana Literature, Monkey Bicycle, Pank, Permafrost, StorySouth, and Texas Review. She earned a Ph.D. From the University of Southern Mississippi and the Novel Writing Certificate from Stanford University. She wrote the middle-grade graphic novel trilogy Audrey’s Magic Nine. She is at work on a novel tentatively titled Darling.
