Carlos Ornelas

Carlos Ornelas is a Chicano Poet, short story writer, creative and activist from Lynwood, Ca. He is a leading voice of the Chicano Renaissance. He Published two poetry collections, "Ketchup” (World Stage Press 2014), and "Villain's Vernacular" (Riot of Roses 2024) He is an active spoken word fire brand in the L.A. Poetry community and lectures, performs and facilitates workshops. His works reflect the beautiful & hideous aspects of society. Ornelas writes to preserve culture & advance the arts.
