Mou Chakraborty is a writer and researcher based in Santiniketan, India. She writes across genres—poetry, short fiction, and novels—exploring gender, class, and performance in everyday life. Her creative work is deeply informed by her doctoral research in theatre and women’s protest narratives in twentieth-century Bengal. Her recent works engage with the emotional landscapes of working-class lives and the quiet defiance of women characters in a changing world.
