Monika is a visual artist, designer, and poet, writing in Polish, English and German. She also translates from Hungarian and Italian. Her work explores language, identity, and transformation, blending sound, image, and text. Monika is the founder of living language / żywy język, an independent press focused on contemporary poetry and art, which also organizes writing workshops and poetry events. She co-runs the art-and-poetry collective sroki złodziejki (thieving magpies).
