Mackenzie Meeker is an aspiring writer, who is the director of Lake Erie Colleges literary magazine: Lake Erie Echoes. She has a bachelor's degree in secondary Education with English as her focus subject. She has won multiple awards at school for her poems "Papa is there" and "Iphigenia to King Agamemnon." She has also won an award for her short story "The Buden of Grief at a Funeral." She is currently finishing up her chapter book titled the Burden of Grief at a Funeral.
