From the suburbs of mandarin, surrounded by oak trees and sunlight, Melissa Mahoney writes poetry and has one self published book of her early work called Poems Written in the Dark. Her next poetry book is about going through a break up with her ex fiancé and is nearly ready to be published. She has several projects she is working on right now. She pays the bills by working as nurse with the elderly which she loves.
