Mishka Hoosen is a writer, editor, and researcher based in Cape Town, South Africa. They are a graduate of the MA in Creative Writing program at Rhodes University. They are the author of the chapbook, Road Trip with James Dean (Flomotion, 2011), and Call it a difficult night (Deep South Books, 2015). Their work has appeared in Catapult, New Coin, The Missing Slate, and more. They are currently working on a novel about living with chronic pain.
