Modesto Caldera Jr.

Modesto Caldera Jr. is a husband, father, teacher, lifelong learner, and writer. He writes prose and some poetry that focus on cultural identity, social norms, and fatherhood. His works have been published in The Bayou Review and UTEP's Emerging Voices Anthology, and rejected in several others. Modesto is honing his craft by attending the University of Texas at El Paso's Online MFA Creative Writing program. He lives in Long Beach, California with his wife and two amazing daughters.
