As an Indigenous queer two-spirit Resistance Artist & Poet, Community Organizer, & Educator, Maxochitl weaves a rebozo of identity and advocacy by sharing stories that have been historically silenced. They come from the lineage of Chichimekah storytellers that braid ancestral language. The seeds of their offerings ask what liberation means, what will we do to get there for all people, & what narratives will we honor for collective healing while breaking down the barriers of colonialism.
