Mary grew up just outside Philadelphia, raised on Jersey shore summers, Atlantic Ocean air, barrier island bridges, and suburbia. She is an avid fan of the Phillie Phanatic (and the other Phillies, sometimes). She loves indie rock and folk music, the color green, and all things witchy. She adores her two black cats, Albus and Aurora, a concerning amount. She holds an MA in English from Georgetown University and a BA in English from Rutgers University - New Brunswick.
