Margaret Downey

Margaret Downey is a writer and educator in rural northern NY. Primarily writing creative nonfiction, Margaret mostly uses flash and experimental styles, often centering around themes of childhood, relationships, education, and travel. Her first publication, "The Month that I Taught English, We Had Prisoners Running Through Our Backyards," appeared in Creative Nonfiction Magazine in 2017.
