Maki Thiersch was the Managing Editor of Willow Springs Magazine Issues 97 and 98 and an Eastern Washington University Creative Writing MFA Graduate. Her fiction has been published in "Writers: Craft in Context," and in "Counterstory, the Rhetoric and Writing of Critical Race Theory" (National Council of Teachers of English, 2025).
