Lucy Martinez

Lucy Ruth Martinez is working on her MFA in Poetry at Arizona State University. She was born and raised in Northwest New Mexico surrounded by red rocks, mesas, and yucca forests. She has lived in New Mexico for most of her life and is influenced by her family’s crossing of borders between Diné and Chicane backgrounds. Lucy's work has been published in El Portal, and The Quarter(ly) Press.
