Luke John Spiby is a Manchester-born fiction writer based in Czechia. He writes voice-driven fiction characterised by dry, self-aware humour and psychological depth, where introspection and action are tightly interwoven. His work explores meaning, morality, and perception through flawed narrators, often grounding the existential in the subtle absurdities of the everyday. He holds an MA in Scriptwriting, and has written for theatre and review websites. He currently works as an English teacher.
