Lila Flavin lives in Providence, Rhode Island. She is an addiction psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Her writing centers on the intersection of queerness, motherhood and medicine. She's at work on a novel that takes place on a psychiatric inpatient unit in NYC.
