Lia Jane is a personal essayist and journalist who writes about healthy living, climate change, and Black womanhood. Currently, she is completing her master's degree in museum studies with a focus on educational programming at the University of Oklahoma. Before diving into journalism, she was a marketing copywriter who side-hustled as a visual merchandiser for Crate and Barrel. As a shy twenty-something, she was a public school teacher.
