Leonard Owens III

An English professor in southwest Florida, Leonard Owens III is currently completing an MFA in Writing with a Creative Nonfiction emphasis at Lindenwood University. He mostly writes memoir essays about growing up in Florida. In 2018, he won the South Atlantic Modern Language Association's Graduate Student Creative Writing award for his essay “A Floridian Boyhood, from Five to Ten,” published in the South Atlantic Review.
