latrell “lala” novali is a genre-defying writer, excavating and transmuting lived experiences into poetic and CNF odes; and telling character-driven and lore-heavy narratives with immersive and fantastical world-building. Their work explores an expansive constellation of motifs such as belonging, survivorship, whimsy, power, identity, community, and ecology. He is currently working on a fantasy Y/A/N/A illustrated novel, and a fabulist comic series with future plans for play- and screenwriting.
