By day, CJ is managing editor of The Diplomat and a Central Asia-obsessed journalist; by night, she is voracious reader of fantasy, science fiction, and dead Italians, among other things. CJ is working on her debut novel, a Central Asia-inspired portal fantasy. She also writes short fiction and creative non-fiction.
