A Virginia native, Kristen can be found with her husband and their dog and cat most days. In 2020, she decided she needed a change and went back to school for writing. At UTEP, she received her Bachelor for Multimedia Journalism (Cum Laude) and has now graduated with her Master for Creative Writing. Her dream is to publish literary fiction and horror stories along with poetry. She draws inspiration from writers and poets like Joyce Carol Oates, Sam Sax, Evie Shockley, and more.
