Kirsten Mickelwait is the author of a debut novel, The Ashtrays Are Full and the Glasses Are Empty (2025), as well as a memoir, The Ghost Marriage (2021). She's an alumna of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers, the Napa Valley Writers Conference, the Kauai Writers Conference, and several other writers' workshops.
