Kevin Carson is a poet, educator, and immigrant rights activist based in Brooklyn, New York. A Caribbean writer of native heritage, his work explores identity, history, grief and the undocumented experience. He has received fellowships from Brooklyn Poets, Dreaming Out Loud, The Watering Hole, and The Seventh Wave. His poetry is featured or forthcoming in the International Human Rights Art Movement, Ave Astra, Matter Journal, Eunoia Review and elsewhere.
