James (Jim) grew up in a small farming community in Southern Indiana. He joined the Navy upon completion of high school and entered Indiana University upon discharge. He began his accounting career in a small public accounting firm and then took a position with an Oil and Gas company that lasted 44 years and five different cities. After retiring he continued working as a consultant for about 5 years. Now he cares for his wife and attends a local writing class.
