Justin Carmickle

Justin Carmickle is a Queer author from rural Indiana, and holds an MFA in fiction from Virginia Commonwealth and PhD in English from The University of Southern Mississippi. A former Associate Editor at Blackbird and The Conium Review, he’s read for prize issues of The Mississippi Review. He’s presented at Children’s Literature conferences, led community workshops, and currently lectures for The University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Stories appear in South Dakota Review and Natural Bridge.
