J Haenni is an American writer living in Scotland. They have an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of St Andrews and a masters in Literature & Modernity from the University of Edinburgh. Their work examines themes of queerness, found family, generational trauma, and identity. Having recently completed a course at Faber Academy, they are finishing their manuscript of their novel, Compound Eyes, and will begin querying.
