Janessa Graham is a Christian poet and writer from New York. Her work has appeared in Soul Poetry and Eileen Verbs Books. She holds an MA in psychology and works as an Advanced CASAC counselor helping people who cope with substance use/co-occurring mental health disorders with seeking treatment. As a result, her work focuses on spirituality, faith, instilling hope, spreading love, promoting empathy, facilitating compassion, and giving a voice to those who’ve been marginalized and devalued.
