As a Writer, Herman has recently collaborated on film and TV versions of Flight of the Swallow, an historical biography on the first African American Fighter Pilot in World War I Eugene Bullard. Current projects include Pay No Mind a biographical film on the meeting between Marsha P Johnson and Andy Warhol, the time-traveling musical anthology The Gospels of Ezra, and the Sundance Finalists 2019 The Girl Who Would Fly, a historical-biopic on Ada Lovelace. Herman is at work on two manuscripts.
