Hilary E. Sinclair

Hilary E. Sinclair is a fiction writer. Their work grows out of a modernist sensibility rooted in European history and culture, with a surrealist undercurrent. Trained in microbiology and non‑metal chemistry, Sinclair writes at the boundaries between humans, beasts, and objects where history and the present intertwine — bringing a material‑science perception to literary form. Something ancient, paradoxical and ambiguous runs through it. They are currently revising a debut short story.
