Hector the Alchemist Author is a writer currently living in Muwekma Ohlone land, San Jose, CA. His previous work has appeared in The Mercury News, UC Santa Cruz Food & Garden Guide, and La Raíz Magazine. Hector has earned the Bay Area American Indian Two Spirits (BAAITS) Artist Grant for his workshop series “Dreaming Ourselves Home: IndigiQueerness as Sacred”. He is also a fellow for the Muses and Melanin for BIPOC Creative Writers intensive. Hector is currently working on his memoir.
