Hazel Ray Gordon is primarily a fiction writer based in Chicago, Illinois. Her work explores race, gender, and the surreal nature of life under late-stage capitalism. She has been published in Allium, a Journal of Poetry and Prose, and the South Side Weekly. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago. She would like to hibernate and wake up in a time that is more peaceful, but wouldn't we all?
