Hannah Floyd

Hannah lives in a crumbling, slug-infested castle with a grizzly zoologist, a mathematical genius and a howling monkey. She works in a training centre for wizards with unusual powers. Due to the effect of elevated magic levels on the brain, she doesn't have the concentration span to write anything longer than her arm. Her bedside table currently hosts Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer, Funny Jokes for 6 Year Olds and Ragnarok by A S Byatt. Nominated for Best Microfiction 2026
