Gideon Leek is a Brooklyn-based writer with fiction in Wigleaf (forthcoming), Hobart (forthcoming), Animal Blood Magazine, and the Oxford Review of Books—where he was the runner-up in the 2025 fiction contest judged by Mona Simpson. He was a finalist for the 2025 Robert and Adele Schiff Award for Fiction from The Cincinnati Review. His essays and reviews have appeared in The Village Voice, Liberties, The Metropolitan Review, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and Public Domain Review.
