Gail Zing, Aotearoa New Zealand writer, author of three poetry collections, including Some Bird – The NZ Listener's Top 10 Poetry Books 2024. Winner of Caselberg and NZPS International Poetry Competitions and placed in many, including 2025 Fish Poetry Prize and Palette Publishing chapbook prize, her work has been widely published in international anthologies and journals. She is a creative-writing teacher and editor, who spends her spare time walking in the high country, bush and mountains.
