Driven, resourceful, and unapologetically ambitious — Kaylyn embodies the spark of a storyteller who refuses to put the pencil down. Born and raised in Hawai’i and studying Int. Relations as a undergrad student in Tokyo, her work has always been shaped by sociopolitical issues that reach beyond geological and cultural borders. With multiple awards under her belt, such as a 2021 Scholastic A&W Honorable Mention and 2023 NCTE First Class award, she has no intentions of stopping anytime soon.
