Scott McDaniel

Scott McDaniel is an award-winning journalist and former IT specialist interested in the crossroads of news and technology, particularly AI. He is the department chair and an assistant professor at Franklin College’s Pulliam School of Journalism. He enjoys traveling, movies, and sports. McDaniel earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Butler University and a master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University.
