Ellen Doré Watson has five full-length poetry collections, most recently Pray Me Stay Eager (Alice James). Published in APR, Tin House, Orion, Field, Ploughshares & The New Yorker, she's also the translator of the Brazilian poet Adélia Prado's The Alphabet in the Park. For decades Poetry editor at Massachusetts Review & Director of Smith Poetry Center, she currently teaches at Fairfield University’s Low-Res MFA, offers generative writing workshops online, & individual poetry manuscript editing.
