Erica Roe, American short fiction writer, psychoanalyst, translator and poet. Erica’s work explores themes of identity, specifically becoming a new mother, with an ear for the unconscious. Her preoccupation with South American writers landed her in Buenos Aires translating Borges. Freudian and Lacanian clinical training produces an explorative writing style that plays with language and femininity. An Adjunct at Brooklyn College in the English department.
